Bottled. The aroma has some malts, light flowery hops. Clear, copper coloured with a thin head. The taste is a bit sweet, light bitter. Nice session beer.

Bottle from Alesela BBE Apr 2012
Amber, clear, thin frothy white head
Aroma of light spicy hops, hint of lager saaz hop, pale malts, light caramel malts, hint of biscuit
Taste of light caramel malts, light spicy bitter hops, touch of honey, bit yeasty.
Palate - medium carb, quite thin body, light bitter malts, slightly oily texture. Finish - moderate bitter, bit of biscuit
Overall - The bottle was near its BBE, wasn’t fresh tasting, taking that into account it seems quite a reasonable beer...needs a re-rate

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. I really struggled with this. Didn’t enjoy it and found it hard to describe. Very biscuity and very bitter. A cereally nose. Odd and not to my taste.

From bottle. Not sure why this rates so low. Nice toffee malt aroma. Taste is chocolate and toffe caramel. Easy going, balanced and smooth. No probs, perhaps lacks zing

Bottle. Found its title a bit offputting as it was far from common. Bronze with a small head and quite fruity. Unusual slightly hoppy flavour and very refreshing. Definitely different.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Amber, with a fast receding head and not much smell. Taste is brief and inoffensive. Some toffee and that is about it. Not a very inspiring beer style and a strange choice for an up and coming UK brewer to recreate.

Bottle at The Caley alongside Anchor Steam. A light golden colour with a lacy white head. Yeasty, caramel aroma. Tastes a bit smoky. Malt, rubber and tar smoky notes. Caramel and malt also. A little oily mouth-feel.
