Draft at abbey inn. Poured a brownish amber color with an off white head. Aroma was caramel, cereal, grain, and a slight nutty character. Flavor was much the same plus a small hop bitter. Body was medium with medium carbonation.

Can someone refer me to a beer that is similar to a Knotty Brunette that is available off the shelf?

Pour is chestnut brown with a nice dense light tan head...smell us lightly sweet and toasty with some caramel and honey...taste is fairly richly sweet with the aforementioned flavors...a lingeringly sweet finish...
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Fratto (2025) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAY 28, 2010
Man-sized mug from Twin Peaks at cwsample’s bachelor party. Served alongside chicken fried steak (2lbs breading, 3oz steak), macaroni cheese, and mashed potatoes. Waitress literally dumped her nose in another customer’s beer to smell whether it was Miller or Coors. She was not as cute as she thought she was. Light brown pour with little to no head. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, and cereal. Flavor is roasted, a little sweet, malty, and sticky. Bitter finish. Fizzy.

Tap at Twin Peaks with Fratto at cwsample’s bachelor party. Clear amber color. Slight head. Light aroma with a small feeling of nuts and malts. Taste is sweet candy that immediately turns bitter. Light toasted nuts. Some caramel. Not too bad, the finish is alittle unsettling.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 travita (2650) - Frisco, Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2010
On tap at Twin Peaks. The look is light brown, clear, with a beige colored head. The smell is cold, nutty, grains, malts, and caramel. The taste is very cold, malts, grains, nuts, and eh.

Exclusive to twin peaks. Not a big fan of peaks but I like having the beer slush occasionally ( their beer served @ 30° so the top layer is slushy ice) Has a sweet aftertaste beer that’s slightly caramely w/ a little more honey aftertaste to it. Lighter & sweeter than Shiner but much closer to its quality than a Bud, Miller, or Coors. I was impressed but... Franconia makes quality stuff so not surprised.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BMan1113VR (6531) - Los Angeles, California, USA - APR 29, 2010
"Man sized ::wink::" glass from tap (from
the 27.4*F bank, not the 29.1*F one) The places I go for a new Franconia rate. Served at what seems to be absolute zero. There are ice chips in it. Long lasting head (that’s what she said), over a iceberg cluttered brown body. Aroma: ice. Move over Coors, there is a new coldest smelling beer. Taste is grainy and cereally. Some caramel. Fizzy mouthfeel. This beer tastes cold, apparently colder than the rockies. Now I know where strippers work during the day. This place is a joke!
