Can someone refer me to a beer that is similar to a Knotty Brunette that is available off the shelf?

A very nice beer that goes week with the hearty food from twin peaks. Reminds me is a shiner bock ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2010 On tap. Pours a clear deep brown with nice beige head. Aroma of nut, toasted grain, malty. Flavor is very malty, some nuttiness, a touch of dark roated grain, some caramel, nice grainy notes, semi-sweet with light earthiness and a pleasant bitter at the end. Mouth feel is medium body with medium-high carbonation. Overall, an easy drinking, very enjoyable beer!

@ Twin Peaks Hooterville, the one next to Flying Saucer, not far from Chads place. Hazy copper color with a tan head, probably a 32DD on the bar maid. Mild nutty chocolate aromas; she smelled of pungent sweet vanilla perfume. Smooth medium body with a big J-Lo sized ass and prominent camel toe. Sweet chocolate and caramel flavors she had my nuts tingling.... no, wait, must have meant " with a nutty roasty finish " notes were illegible at this point.

Exclusive to twin peaks. Not a big fan of peaks but I like having the beer slush occasionally ( their beer served @ 30° so the top layer is slushy ice) Has a sweet aftertaste beer that’s slightly caramely w/ a little more honey aftertaste to it. Lighter & sweeter than Shiner but much closer to its quality than a Bud, Miller, or Coors. I was impressed but... Franconia makes quality stuff so not surprised.

(Draught) Pours a nut brown body with a medium cream head. Served about 20 degrees too cold. Aroma of caramel, nuts, and grain. Flavor of nuts, caramel malt, and toasted grain with a somewhat dry finish.

Draft at abbey inn. Poured a brownish amber color with an off white head. Aroma was caramel, cereal, grain, and a slight nutty character. Flavor was much the same plus a small hop bitter. Body was medium with medium carbonation.

On tap at Twin Peaks. Pours a clear amber with a medium creamy beige head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is raisin and caramel. Thin mouthfeel with a toast bready malt and caramel. Easy to drink a good Irish ale from Franconia.

Comes out of the tap an opaque chocolate brown with a fairly thick, fine-bubbled and rather persistent light tan head. Malty aroma has notes of caramel and cinnamon. Robust, malty flavor repeats the caramel note I detected in the aroma, and has hints of cinnamon, cloves and horehound. Unfortunately, since the beer was served so cold, this made it hard to detect more subtleties of aroma and flavor. Smooth texture has average body and fizz. Overall, not too shabby - a great accompaniment to a meal or a game on TV.

Pour is chestnut brown with a nice dense light tan head...smell us lightly sweet and toasty with some caramel and honey...taste is fairly richly sweet with the aforementioned flavors...a lingeringly sweet finish...
