Sweet-sour technical water filled with unhealthy poisonous additions. Catastrophe.

Can 50 cl) I don’t really understand this Swedish trend about giving beer "Danish" names. I mean what’s the need when you make excellent beer yourselves. Somebody please explain.
This is a very unspectacular brew, pale golden with a small head. Hints of malt and nothing much more. Drinkable though, will not offend anyone - but then again perhaps it’s blandness will. 080102

Draught
Typical lager color, medium white head. Aroma has sweetness and some vinegar. Medium-bodied with some hoppy bitterness. Better than Carlsberg or Tuborg!

A thin sweetish international standard lager. Just a bit worse than average.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2003 This beer should not really be given any marks at all. Still I would like to think that the appearance of this pale water-diluted solvent could water your palate a warm summer day - it does not look as bad as it tastes. Once in your mouth though, you are reminded of that scent of hospital that filled your nostrils back when you visited your grandma at the clinic.

This is a sad story. Sofiero used to be the first Swedish microbrewery. A little time ago they went out of business and got bought up by Kopparberg. now Kopparberg is using the plant to brew the crappiest beers imaginable. To start with: to the best of my knowledge there is no such thing as Helsingør Bryghus, so it’s very kind of them to give the permission to Sofiero/Kopparberg to brew this beer. secondly the beer tastes like sweetish mineral water. It is pale golden and bland to the vanishing point, with a slight hint of green apples, but absolutely no bitterness.
