(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly sulphury malty nose with hints of grassy and herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Dry malt-character with doughy notes and grassy hops in the background; dry and moderately bitter and grassy hoppy finish. No delight. 05.II.12

Low hop pilsner correct carbonation. Sweet enjoyable to drink zero aroma this is a bad thing in my book. With aroma could be a great pilz. Also needs better head retention. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,5 liter bottle. Thin white head and a light hoppy aroma with a little lemon. Flavor is refreshing and a little hoppy. Pretty standard pils. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Golden, clear, greenish sheen, stable creamy white head, dry papery-grassy nose with a strawy (hoppy?) touch; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; bitter-grassy finish. Typical monotonous german mass-market Pilsener...

courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - clear golden beer under a long lasting white foam; some cheap grassy hoppiness, light buttery tones; moderate malt backbone, a bit fizzy; shy bitterness and more unconvincing grassy tones in the finish

Clear darker yellow with solid white foam head, lacing to glass. Decent bitter hop pilsener aroma and likewise taste, bit peppery. Pilsener with a bite. Good aftertaste, lasting bitterness. (Velp, 201207)

Bottle thanks to koelschtrinker among a wealth of extras. Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is basic pilsner malts, some grassy hops, cardboard, Autozitron, smells like urin. Taste is basic malts, weird astringent bitterness, somewhere inbetween iron and paprika - yes, pretty weird. Tastes pretty bad. But I am glad that I got to try this. Thanks, Roman!

Bottle at home. Very pale yellow, nice white head. Metallic, corn, grassy aroma. Medium dry body, malty taste. Quite a lot of dms. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

New entry from the Konigsbacher brewery, a straightforward german pils. Nice golden color, light head, and a clean, snappy taste. Sharp and tingly on the tongue, with a faint grainy aftertaste. A good example of a German pils from this old German brewery.

1st beer in a mini-German evening I’m having with myself (13 June 2012). Tall brown 0.5 litre bottle, well in date when poured into an old ’Schultheiss’ 0.5 litre sleeve. Mid-range lager/pilsner gold: clear, bright and clean. Good foaming head of snow white bubbles which tried to stay big and did for a fair while before it faded away: the beer was fresh. My usual score of 3 for an odourless pilsner. Crisp and tangy mouthfeel: hops to the fore with a malt content just about preventing the beer from being too bitter or dry. A welcome addition to this breweries portfolio.
