A light reddish lager-style beer with a caramel aroma and slightly smoky and fruity flavor notes resembling citrus, apricots and smoked plums. Made with four different malt types, this beer provides an enjoyable experience for beer novices and beer connoisseurs alike.

Pours beautiful clear dark red. Tastes bready, small amount of roasted malts or rye. Also some malty sweetness which is balanced with grassy hops. And the hops are quite noticeable for this style. Light body, but that’s ok for a lager. Drinkable and not bad for my first impression of this brewery.

Bottle. Darker chestnut body, small head. Going by the colour, it’s more like a Dunkel than a Vienna. Weak caramelly aroma with some rye bread. "Smoaked plums" my ass. Taste has toasted malts with some bread crust. Toasty finish. Very basic and flavour intensity is light. Serve this at slightly below room temperature to get any flavour. When cold, it’s suitable for quenching thirst but no more.

Bottle. Pours copper with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sweet, caramel, burnt, some dirty notes. Flavor is very mild, caramel, burnt sugar, some bitterness. Body is thin. Overall: not offending, just extremely bland.

Clear reddish-brown beer, small browin-ish head. Weak malty nose, vague toasty notes. Nose is metallic notes with toasty caramel tones, bitterness in the finish. Thin and nondescript, but not offensive. Shared by martjoobolut, thanks!

330 ml bottle. Pours dark red with some foam. Really red, quite clear. Aroma has some light caramel, green apples. Taste is quite flavourful, has some dried plums, some bittering hops, citric lemon peels. Has more layers than I thought, not bad at all for the style which is normally not my favourite. Drying the mouth a bit, lingering for long.

A clear red body, scarce tan head. Nose has aramel and herbal aromas. Bitter taste and dry finish. Smooth carbonation and medium palate. Nice basic beer.

jann3 (183) - Espoo, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2014
Pours hazy reddish brown with a very small head. Aroma is sweet with roasted malts, caramel and some coffee. Taste is quite similiar to aroma; sweet malty notes of caramel and coffee. Very low bitterness. Lively carbonation. Drinkable. (Draught at Kochi Aidad in Tallinn, Estonia)

Kauge (658) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 24, 2014
Draught at Kochi Aidad (€ 2,90 for 50 cl) in Tallinn, June 2014. Served in a dimpled mug. Colour is chestnut red; head is small but retaining, grayish off-white. There’s not much aroma to talk about. Seriously, there’s nearly no scent except for some veeery faint black bread and caramel. Taste is predominantly malts and caramel. Sweet. Very low bitterness. Mediumish body with a prickly carbonation, soft mouthfeel and dry palate. Finish is also more on the dry side with only a hint of bitterness. Overall a non-impressive beverage, in fact, the least memorable beer I’ve had in a long time. Probably OK to just have it with a meal and a newspaper.

0,5 hana Kochi Ait. Kaunis, kirkas punertava. Tuoksuu leivälle. Maku hillityn maltainen, vetinen. Ei juurikaan runkoa.
