This aromatic and caramelly dark bock-style beer with subtle sweet and winey notes has been made by following traditional brewing methods used in the previous century.

TŐS5. Bottle. Pours amber , almost no head. Aroma is sweetish, roast, riped gabbage, prunus, radish,-interesting. Taste is sweet, slight roast, watery, raddish. Thin + body. Rather bad.

Beautiful dark red, almost no head. Low carbonation and wine-like aroma. Sweet and sour candy sugar flavor. Lots of caramel, earthy hops. Interesting and pleasant drink. I feel like I should buy this again sometime.

Copper beer, small tan head. Nose is caramel and malt, some metallic hints, a whiff of hops. Flavor is more malts and caramel, with more pronounced metallic and hoppy notes. Finish has a mix of bitteness and sweetness. Watery to slightly oily mouthfeel. A bit thin, but drinkable.

33cl bottle from Solaris, Tallinn. Pours clear chestnut coloured with a slightly tanned head. Malty and fairly caramelly aroma with lighty toasty notes, hints of bread and hops. Sweet and malty with a lightly spicy bitterness in the finish. Hardly exiting, and not exactly my favourite style, but quite decent.

Tap @ Brewpub. Cola brown, thin off white head. Bready, caramel, aroma. Flavor has some metal, caramel, sweetness, malt. Very thin body. Forgettable. The blood/metal notes grows the more u drink. And no, I’m not bleeding :)

Bottle. Chestnut brown body, small head that later disappears completely. Aroma has a touch of burnt caramel and earthy hops. Sweet and mildly burnt malty taste with a touch of molten plastic and earthy hops. Very similar to Saku Tume which, depending from the batch, can be very good or just mediocre. In a blind test I would have trouble telling them apart. So in terms of value it’s not a very good deal.

330 ml bottle. Pours mahogany, dark red. Has a nice foam that reduces soon into a quite thin layer. Not much carbonation. Aroma is sweetish, caramel, melted sugar candy. Taste has a slight hop not but also sweet caramelly base. Aftertaste turns a bit too bitter, raw, in a not very balanced way, kind of falls apart at the end. Overall, I guess not bad for the style, quite drinkable.
