A lager-style beer somewhat on the sweet side, with a balanced flavor of malt and hops, a distinct aroma of hop cones and a mild hoppy and malty aftertaste. A beer to get the party going.

Draft. Hazy yellow color, small head. Fruity aroma. Taste was little bit sweet, few hops. Short finish. Drinkable.

Draught @ the brewpub as ”Kochi Ait Vunk Pale Lager”
Aroma is quite nothing – perhaps some sweetish hay notes and hints of grass. Flavour has hay, grainy malt and some odd milky tone I find hard to describe. Also some raw dough here and hints of citron. Weird but not completely bad – but my party would not be going with this.

Gets stronger aromas after warming up – nice grassy tones here.

Tap@Kochi Ait Slightly hazy orange-yellow color, small white head. Not much aroma, some grainy malty notes and some aspirin. Light-bodied. Maltyness, light citrus-fruity hoppyness but not enough to make this beer interesting. Bland, but may work with food.

Tap@brewery. Golden hazy. Sweet corn malty nose. Lighter body, fresh malty, with some bulk lager notes. Like the mouthfeel, but flavour-wise a bit dull, ordinary.

(Keg at Kochi Ait Trahter, 20130703) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and metallicness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness, metallicness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Not bad but too sweet.

Tap (Kocki Ait, Tallinn)
Hazy pale orange, persistent white head. Full light grain aroma, a touch starchy/floury, but giving a nice sense of the grains that went into this. Fairly simple palate, refreshing, but also full. Taste has the light grains, and a bit of the flouriness, but a real punch in the face of noble hops. metallic and biting, this is traditional central europe (german more than czech) all over. Makes my teeth taste of tin foil - I’m generating a current with my fillings! With some food, the retronasals are just packed with almonds. Nothing groundbreaking, but a very nice hoppy unfiltered pils.

Tap. Bit hazy, pale straw yellow color. Thick white head, stays forever. Straw, hay, hops and malty notes in aroma. Honey, grainy, malty and very faint hops in flavor. Mild mouthfeel. Bitter and dead yeasty aftertaste.
