A lager-style beer somewhat on the sweet side, with a balanced flavor of malt and hops, a distinct aroma of hop cones and a mild hoppy and malty aftertaste. A beer to get the party going.

Bottle. Opaque golden body, small disappearing head. Sweet estery aroma with yeast, almost like a Belgian ale or a Hefeweizen. Yeasty grainy taste with sweet yeast, some citric hops and not much else. Homebrewy, messy and fizzy. Not a Pilsener, more like a "Premium Lager".

Bottled Vunk. Pours cloudy golden, minimal head. Not much to write about, but I could imagine myself drinking this in large quantities (and not get bored of it) in a pub watching a football game. Well and why not a six-pack for a sauna evening.

33cl BBE 16.08.15 Aroma of yeast, herbs, grass and raw hops. Pours cloudy with no head. Overly sweet, fizzy and thin. Feels like a soda pop, or hoppy artificial kali. Also, strongly reminds Muntons Export Pilsner. You like sweet beer - try this on.

Pours a hazy yellow body with no head left after standing in the glass for a while. Nose has very mild notes of malts, herbs and minerals. Taste is mildly bitter with a smooth, dry finish. Low carbonation and medium palate. Nice simple pilsner, would work well with food pairing.

Kauge (843) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 24, 2014
Draught at Kochi Aidad (€ 2,90 for 50 cl) in Tallinn, June 2014. Served in a dimpled mug. Colour is hazy golden / orange. Head is modest and white. Aroma is mostly just malts: it’s mashy, somewhat spicy, a bit wheaty even, doughy. Reminds me of pancakes, and wet cardboard. Increasingly doughy as it warms. Taste is malts, again a bit wheaty, biscuity and doughy (disturbingly even), corny. Sweet, low bitterness. High carbonation, dry, grainy palate. Rather sticky, too. Not a fan but I reckon it’s OK with a big fat meal.
