(draught 0,5l @ Netopýr (Brno)) Fruity, fresh, unusual, some chocolate aroma. Opaque black color. Medium brown (cocoa) head. Medium sweet, light bitter, light fruity, bitter chocolate taste. Full body. Dry, chocolate finish. High alcohol not detectable at all. Drinkable, pleasant, complex beer. Not so heavy as other high gravity black beers.

Bottle from Zly Casy Pivoteka, Prague. Pitch black beer with a nice lasting beige head. Roasted chocolate aroma, caramel, creamy, nuts, vanilla, soot, toffee, cigarettes, cocoa powder. Roasted chocolate flavor, tar, cocoa powder, vanilla, smoke, raisins, licorice, some toffee. Drinkable and with a nice roasted chocolate and soot finish.

On tap at Pivo, Budapest. Pitch black, medium sized pale brown head, chocolate in the nose. Slightly vinous roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee with notes of dried fruits and marzipan. Bitter and mild roasty finish. Pleasant brew.

Courtesy of Armando, thanks! Szinte teljesen fekete színe van, a tetején vékony de kitartó habbal. Illata kissé fásan fanyar, fekete csokis, fahamus, neszkávés. Íze is hasonlít az illatára, kesernyésen, fanyaran, pörkölt magvasan. Krémes teste van és moderáltan buborékos. Utóíze picit fanyar, keserű és száraz. Érdekes kísérlet, nekem egy kicsit túl fanyar, de nem rossz.

Poured black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, tobacco, green apples. Fine body, coffee like taste with a fruity character, dark chocolate, cream. Good;-)

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks David Cohen. Dark brown to black. Aroma of candies, chocolate, some licorice, malt and light vegetal hints. Roasty flavor with chocolate, a bit of coffee and a burnt and moderately bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied.

At a tasting, thanks David C., smallish creamy head, opaque black colour, aroma of cocoa, oak barrel and touches of hay and dried fruits, flavour of charred wood, dried fruits and some coffee in the back. Nice and pleasant.
