My buddy had this one sitting for a couple years and forgot about it. Figured it was worth a shot. Dull golden body - nose is more like a saison. Funky, grainy, and fruity. Any hops have surly faded. Flavors of citrus, funk, and dirt.

Taste: pretty sweet start, soapy, floral, some fruits, citrus, sweet grapefruit. Aftertaste: agrum, very bitter and soapy. Nice to see them trying, but they’re not there yet...

Sample from a screwtop 1 littre bottle @ WoSF 2012 // awesome craft beer in a PET bottle, my first one, I love it // thx a lot to Diabel for this one // (a) slightly hazy golden with little head // (s) sweet, flower, lavender (I am getting it), touch nectar, melon, fruits, underriding herbs // (t) this one is pretty odd in a nice way, cough drops sweetness, very strongly herbal, like field of herbs, plenty of floral hops, touch pale malts, lavender soap detergent, touch flowers & grapes // very, very special & unique // touch out of my interest zone but I am quite digging the uniqueness of this, never had an IPA like this before & it comes in a PET bottle // nicely well carbonated, easy to drink but it is quite a lot to take in
