Draft at The Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon zest, apricot and biscuit. Residual pine resin and dry grain.

Yellow, hazy with little yeast particles. Thick white head. Aroma is malty and bready, little hops and some herbal notes. In taste you get malts. Medium bitterness, noticeable at the finish, but intensifies in aftertaste. Nothing special stands out. But maybe it stayed too long in the bottle?

On tap at Főzdefeszt 2013 spring. Hazy, golden color with little, creamy head. Honey, resin, spices, fruits in the aroma. Dry, medium bitter taste. Creamy texture, light body, average carbonation. Dry, hoppy finish. Delicious spicy, pure bitter IPA.

Bottled, 0.5 l. Opal deep golden colour, small white head. Nose of mild honey and herbs. Tasteing starts crisp followed by mild honey malts, hints of citrus fruits, distinct herbs and grass. Mouthfeel is slick. The finish is long and bitter ruled by harsh herbs and grass again underpainted by citrusses. Not really made for my taste.

GBBF Day 4. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Crispy palate. Minerally fresh. Creamy malt. Good fresh orange - lemon citrus. Touch of pith. Finishes dry. Very easy drinking with it’s keg freshness.

Keg at GBBF. golden, cloudy, with a low head. Lemony hopp and pilsner malt nose. Rich and tasty Czech malt flavor, bready, good american hops. Nice stuff. More like an APA. Czech malt profile comes across nicely.

Bottle. Golden coloured, small white head. Aroma is stinky hop, spinach, bit of citrus. Taste is good, nice maltiness, biscuit, orange citrus taste, slight spiciness. Pretty good but bit strange.

(Draught at Nota Bene, Prague, 17 July 2013) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, peaches and grass. Fruity, malty taste with notes of lemon peel, grapefruit, peaches, bready/biscuity malt, dried pineapple and a generous grassy, citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well made and solid IPA, at a fairly low alcohol level. Very nice.

marigold (27) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 11, 2013
Golden orange color, delicious intensive aroma, grassy, whiff of lime peel and muted yeasty undertones, balanced medium body, mostly hoppy with grapefruit palate and well tuned ending of bitterness and malty bread (when it warms up, it shows nice caramel tones). This is just great, fresh, light and at the same time intensive. As good as IPA can get in Czech republic.
