On tap at Toulavy Kocour Pub Brno (03/03/13). Hazy very pale gold pour with frothy pure white head. Aroma is a real citrus bomb, citra/centennial, orange pulp, really perfumy and enticing. Flavor of freshly squeezed orange juice, nice citrusy taste, biscuity malts, really clean, good zesty finish, bitterness is light. Palate is light, nice and dry, medium carbonation. Really good.

Bottled. Appeared dark yellow body with a thin foam. Aroma very nicely based on hops, fruits, herbs, very intensive and expressive, although could be more accented. Slightly carbonized, rather medium body, aggressively bitter in the start and it keeps to be like that to the very end of the long and good finish. Maybe not the best IPA in Czech, but in a premier league.

From a bottle. Pours a light copper colour with a small off-white head. A fairly powerful typical IPA aroma - hops and citruses, taste much the same. The most appealing feature of this IPA is the combination of its full flavour with a low ABV (5.1%). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Quack-Duck (7911) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 13, 2010
bottle from Zly Casy. Clear, perhaps slightly hazy golden colour, mid-sized white head. Hoppy nose. Medium-bodied with a solid malty base, but the emphasis of course is on the delicious Centennial hops. Slightly citrusy with a herbal-resiny touch. A pleasure! Superb quality from a very reliable brewery.

On tap at GBBF 2011. Hazy golden, with thick, fluffy white head. Smells good, with a bit of berry on the hop. Tastes fruitier than a standard US IPA, with some cake icing thrown in. Very nice.

marigold (27) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 11, 2013
Golden orange color, delicious intensive aroma, grassy, whiff of lime peel and muted yeasty undertones, balanced medium body, mostly hoppy with grapefruit palate and well tuned ending of bitterness and malty bread (when it warms up, it shows nice caramel tones). This is just great, fresh, light and at the same time intensive. As good as IPA can get in Czech republic.

Lahev ( z pivoteky): Golden, unclear, big stable fluffy to rocky white head; distinctive dry herbal-hoppy nose (Centennial) with some sweet pale malt underneath; soft and medium bodied, solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF; lingering - hops stick to the palate - dry herbal-hoppy finish with a good pale-malty balance. Pretty czech hop-bomb.......

Hazy golden orange, whitish ring. Aroma is cat pee, light sour twinge, malty sweet. Taste is more sweet, funky fruit, weird hoppy. I enjoyed it in a not so IPA sort of way.
