Vrchol K2 zdolal dnes už kdekdo, náš svrchně kvašený speciál K31 málokdo. Je to "kocouří" interpretace těch nejsilnějších piv vařených ve světě.

20 cl bottle with waxed cork cap. Small head with short duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, caramel, alcohol, honey and hops. Nice and warming. Tastes more like a mead than a barley wine.

On tap at slunce ve skle, glad to get a chance to try this finally; far and away the most expensive sample of the day. Clear amber with no real sign of a head; sweet aroma of date syrup and sugar syrup; much too sweet for my tastes but not necessarily a bad beer with some concentrated berry syrup, baklava, rum-soaked biscuits; pleasant woody notes and baking soda. Just has one slight little drawback that it is not actually pleasant to drink. Simply way way too sweet

(bottle) Slightly unclear, deep golden to light-amber colour with a blond and short foamy layer. Grainy and nutty notes of barley with an alcoholic touch of an Eau de Vie, Ésprit de Bičre, accompanied by woody hoppy accents. Sweet flavour, surprisingly medium bodied with a creamy carbonation. The taste has lots of a beer-Schnaps hybrid with delicately fruity and honey-like notes and a warming alcoholic strength; moderately sweet, delicately fruity and nuttty finish with pleasantly warming alcoholic notes. Very flavourful hybrid beer. 04.VI.12

20cl Bottle at Klub Malých Pivovarů, Plzen. Clear deep amber colour, thin off-white head. Aroma of sweet and full fruity malts, raisins, dried fruits, soft sweet alcohol. Flavour is sweet, thick malty, dried fruits, apricot, peach, caramel, bittersweet alcohol finish, light sticky. Light prickly carbonation that doesn’t really fit well imo. Medium to fullbodied. Nice.

Dark amber, some frothy head residue. Concentrated fruit, tutti frutti, alcohol, resin, caramel malt. Very sweet but very nice. Bit sticky but a fizzy small carbonation to balance. Some hop sharpness. A true sipper.

elegant 0.2 láhev přímo z pivovaru. Hazy brown colour, small beige head. Aroma of dried fruit, grainy malt, chocolate, caramel... Vinous start, intensive but not too sweet malt flavours with dried fruit such as figs, dates and raisins, also freshly brewed black tea, shy but pleasant hoppy finish. Extraordinarily smooth palate. Superb stuff!
