on tap at slunce ve skle 2008, a good choice to start the day with. rich amber with a firm bubbly head; aroma of grassy hop clumps, apparently centennial; faintly salty, very dry, perhaps could use a bit more citric bite but extremely drinkable nonetheless

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Beerlando (3324) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2011
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2011 0.3L bottle from U Medvidku. The pour yields a hazy, dark, burnt orange-amber hue with a small head of bubbly off-white froth. Hard, dense swaths of arched lacing mark the glass. The aroma is very malty and toffee driven, hinting also at toast and baking bread dough. Floral and citrus hops seem faded and distant, showing only glimpses of what they might have been at one point. Flavors seem a little stale and lifeless, showing mostly honey glazed cereal and old grain. Hops are dry and grassy, definitely faded and past their time. It seems like it would be pretty solid when fresh. The palate sports a medium body with average carbonation and a drying finish. Meh.

And so it was that later
as the miller told his tale
that her face, at first just ghostly,
turned a whiter shade of pale ale.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ElDesmadre (476) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUN 2, 2011
Bottle. Hazy honey brown with medium sized, sustaining head. Aroma apart from being grainy-malty, bready, with some rice and honey is above all very fruity, thanks in part to American hops. Peaches, apricots, lemon, apples and pears. Rather high carbonation and oily palate. Taste is above all very fruity once again, slightly bready, very subtly sweet-sour, peripherically grassy-hoppy, with a moderate citrussy bitterness. Great!
