marigold (27) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 10, 2013
Insipid yellow color, aroma is intensively fruity with banas, apples and little bit of ester undertones, too artificial. Taste is suprisingly blunt, medium body shows some nice spiced / exotic fruit tones, but after a while is overruned by grapefruit bitterness which lingers on palate and impedes the taste from opening. Ending is dry, slightly roasted and a bit blunt again. Simply not very gripping ale.

Bottle. Unclear Amber with a washing up liquid White head. Aroma is feintly grassy and citrus. Flavour has moderate malt and moderate citrus hops (Centennial). It’s not a bold or dramatic beer but I enjoyed it greatly.
