Pours mahagon, amber. Quite flat. Nose has a bit of caramel. Nothing too exciting, although I was hoping for something. Taste has caramel, bit of smoke but vegetables and iron also there.. Aftertaste is bitter and messy . Probably not in its best condition.

Bomber. PRetty orange, red-amber with lace. Funky nose, diacetyl and lots of DMS, some smoke. Sweet toffee, peaches, oranges. Could be great, but bad condition.

Rotin (173) - Neratovice, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 1, 2015
Bottle 0,5l. A bit cloudy, amber colored beer. Intensive sweet aroma of malts, bubble gum, grains, smoked malt, fruit, apples, alcohol and floral hops. Full bodied, sweet flavor of malts, caramel, honey, grains, moderately smoked malt, silky, warming, alcohol, very bitter, floral tones of hops.
Strong, bitter, sweet, exactly according to my taste. Great!

(500 ml bottle @ Alles Elbe, Hamburg) Hazy chestnut-coloured beer with a creamy head, interspersed with some larger bubbles. Looks quite appealing to me. On the nose there’s a lot of dried fruit - raisins and the like. The beer was advertised as Scotch Ale, so that seems fitting. In the mouth though, it’s a different matter. Much more strongly hopped than I expected, therefore with resinous notes as well. And then of course plenty of roasted malty aroma that accumulates on the roof of the mouth. A very subtle smokiness too, but I might have missed that without reading the description! The whole thing is not subtle at all, though. Intense aroma and bitterness, and solid malty body. Although I have come to value lighter drinkable beers more, I was quite impressed with this stronger one! (And no infection whatsoever detectable in the bottle I had, might I add, as I read the other reviews)

Grisza (17) - Wrocław, POLAND - JAN 21, 2015
Bottle (maybe it is old but it should be good for at least next 3 weeks). My beer has dark amber colour and it is not hazy. There is a tiny white head and it gives a little bit lacing. Aroma is a little bit smoked (but if I wouldn’t know it is smoked I would say it has strawberry aroma). The same is with taste: malty and a little bit smoked (a little bit of strawbery taste). Good carbonation.

FatPhil (10259) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 24, 2014
500ml bottle - thanks Mari & Marduk!
5 sweetish rotting over-ripe fruit, a bit sour.
4 nice orangy red persistent orangy tight head.
5 touch sour and rough, but the body’s mostly sweet. Some pleasant dry roasty aspect, but also an artificial sweetener. Bitter liquorice.
3 sweetish, but also dusty and dirty finish. Soft.
9 A bit messy. not pressing the heonism button. not pressing the yummy button.
