300 ml bottle brought from Prague. Pours light brown with a bubbly head that goes away fast. Aroma has caramel, milk chocolate, a bit of herbs and berries - cherry? Taste proves that we are dealing with an ale here. Softly hoppy, some sweet malty base and some spices on top of that. Fruit sweetness. Aftertaste is creamy with some bitter hops. Good easily drinkable brown ale, perfect for Christmas.

Draught at Nota Bene, Prague. Clear deep amber/mahogany beer with a nice lasting beige/brownish head. Fruity hop aroma, roasted, caramel, biscuits, pine apples, some citrus and mango. Fruity citrus and pine apple flavor, caramel, chocolate, biscuits, licorice, peach, roasted notes. Fruity finish, lots of tropical fruits. Nice beer but maybe not completely true to the style.

bottle - xmas 2012 tasting chez baerwaldt, picked up at pivni rozmanitost. murky brown with a minimal head; inviting aroma of burnt banana and grapefruit; really well-balanced between some nutty, caramel malt and vibrant citric and tropical hops. even though it seems to have gone downhill a bit lately, it’s good to know kocour is still capable of coming up with something as well-crafted as this
