Bottle. Medium brown and hazy with a frothy head. Aroma is strongly hoppy - mainly pine, also citrus and some pineapple. Also this beer has a beautifully rich maltiness - toasty, nutty, caramel, freshly ground coffee beans, that and some blueberries. Lovely! Very hoppy, fruity (tropical and forest fruit) and very malty taste. Sweetish upfront, some of the sweetness stays into the aftertaste but is skillfully countered by a strong hop bitterness that dominates the back of the mouth. In spite of the bitterness the beer is soft on the palate. The aftertaste is pine, nuts and coffee. Pure genius!
