Draught@HBF2009. Deep ambery brown colour, close to black. Aroma is chocolate malts, roasted notes as well as some dark dry fruits. Flavour is caramel, toffee, alcohol and quite strong dark fruty notes.

Draught at Helsinki Beer Festival 2009. Dark reddish brown color with creamy head. Malty and nutty aroma with dark bread. Roasty, nutty and toffeish flavor with dark bread, low to medium bitterness and hint of charcoal in the finish. Soft palate. Pleasant and drinkable.

Dark opaque color, decent espresso head. Nice intensive cocoa nose. Chocolaty, cocoa flavors, dark chocolaty finish. Low bitterness, leans more towards caramelly and roasty notes. Good solid dark lager.

1l plastic bottle from Zly Casy Prague. Dark brown color with small white head. Aroma of milk chocolate, toffee, some fruity hints. Taste, toffee, roasted malt, coffee. Light bitter finish. Good.

Tap at Richtar Jakub. Aroma strong toffee, sweet chocolate, egg liquor. Very dark colour, almost black. Beige head, medium duration. Taste toffee, chocolate - mostly sweet. Lightly sourish. Finish is bitter, roasted. Lower body. At most medium drinkability.

Barva: černá, pěna vysoká, hustá. Vůně: karamalová a sladová, příjemná. Chuť plné husté pivo s výraznou kávovou chutí a příjemným chmelovým dozvukem.

Plastic bottle. Pours clear dark red to brown with average tan head. Aroma is caramel, malt. Flavor is malt, caramel, hint of smoke and roastiness. Sweet in a pleasant way.

1l-PETka přímo z pivovaru - díky mockrát, Ludvíku! Dark brown, nearly black colour, large and creamy beige head. Aroma of dark malts, coffe and chocolate. Full-bodied, malty, hints of roasted malts. Very slightly hoppy only. Lingering finish with hints of dark chocolate.

Dark brown almost black colour with small off-white head. Dryish liquorice, mild coffee, roasted malt and touch of diacetyl in aroma. Flavour is roasted malt, mild dryish bitterness and some mild sweetness, caramel. Very drinkable and tasty one.

(Draught at Zly Casy, Prague, 29 July 2011) Very dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of caramel, dark bread and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, caramel, cola and a mild bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.
