Bottle. Very intesting idea. Small head, copper color, strong taste with hints of wine.

Keg at the Euston Tap. Pours an oily orange with no head. Ripe fruits, malts comprise the aroma. Pretty sweet flavor, bits of flowers and subtle spice, plenty of sugary malts, not too bitter. Medium to full in body with soft carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more sugary malts and ripe fruits. So so.

Full measured half pint from keg at Euston Tap. Unclear, amber body, naked surface. Vinous aroma with sweet dried fruits. Dark and dried fruits in flavour with a noticeable Hungarian wine-like touch giving the drink a special taste. Masked alcohol. Medium bodied. Interesting, but not that exciting (London, 21.03.2011).

Keg at the Euston Tap. Pours a cloudy amber. A little sweet malt and a slight fruit tang on the nose, but not much aroma at all. Rich malty and fruity flavour with notes of strawberry and peach and a good alcohol bite, then a drying hoppy bitter finish. Strange but nice!

On tap at the Euston Tap. This is a bock style beer with Hungarian Tokaj wine added at the end of fermentation. It pours a murky brown colour with almost no head and very low carbonation. The nose is wood, brown sugar, boiled sweets, pear drops, plums, raisins and sultanas. The taste is caramel, chocolate, brown sugar, date, fig, sultana, toast, caramelised banana, smokey, well-hidden alcohol and a sticky mouth-feel. Quite interesting, but a bit too sweet and flat for my taste.
