Great Alaska Beer And Barleywine Fest 2011. Hazy amber color/ no head. Big fruity apple, evergreen tree sap, cinnamon spicy aromas. light to medium bodied. Caramel, apple, pit fruit, spicy herbal sweetness- good.

Congrats to the brewers for the best beer GABBF 2012! This one had a very smooth taste with very subtle spruce and lots of tropical fruits. Wish I had had it earlier in the day!

Sampled at the ’11 GABBF. Murky orange color with very little head. Puffed wheat, pear and alcohol in the nose. Sweet, fruity beer with apple, pear and white wine flavors with some spice and noticable alcohol. I didn’t get a lot of spruce out of this. It was more a big, fruity wheat wine.
