2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Orange colored brew. German hops all over. Some berries? A bit strange, but amazingly still drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Probably the only beer I like from this brewer. Been a while since I had this though, don’t remember that much and my notes don’t tell me much either: Color cloudy dark orange. Light bitterness. Nice carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Gusher. Aroma of hops and wild yeast and yoghurt. Hmm, seems like it’s gone bad or is infected. Flavour is hoppy bitterness with sourness from brett. Still quite drinkable though.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, thanks for sharing dEnk! Pours a hazy orange, with a creamy white head. Aroma of brettanomyces (infection?) with the well known blue cheese and barnyard aromas taking the overhand of some hidden hops. Flavor is sour with bretty earth and also quite bitter going to a very dry bitter finish. Reading the other ratings I suppose this is was a bottle that went bad.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
30 cL bottle. Pours cloudy dark orange with a collapsing off-white head. Aroma is phenolic, caramelish and slight yeasty. Dark caramelish, light metallic and roasted malty into the finish. Ends dry and malty. Not really hoppy apart from the final bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 7.5%. Malty aroma. Hazy amber colour. Stable tan head. The flavour has more hops than the aroma. Quite malty with a distinct bitterness and a sweet hoppiness. Hint of grass, but perhaps a little less than fresh.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from de Bierkoning, Amsterdam. A dense, fingerthick yellowish head over a misty, amber-brown body. Fruity and hoppy nose, pink grapefruit, lemon, flowers and faint resin. Medium sweet, fairly clean malt aroma, supported, or maybe dominated, by a bold, fruity hoppiness. Quite sharp on the palate. Dry, hoppy finish. A drinkable and very unusual Strong Lager.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, herbs, grass, dusty, light citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear amber with a rich off-white head. Flowery hop aroma. Medium body, sweet malts and a little caramel. Some lightly leathery and astringent hoppiness. Decent alright. 041009

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big, light-yellow/beige head, ove fully hazy red-amber beer. Vinous nose, cake and fruity esters. Very faraway dry hops, nearly as an afterthought. Taste is again vinous, but more overtly hoppy. Citrus-, strawberry- and other fruity flavours. CO² contributes to the flavour, despite very little visible cargonation. After some time, nearly sourish. Well-bodied, spritzy MF. Very strange beer. Everything I know about Koelschip’s purveyors, speaks of German bottomfermenting. BUt this vinous esterbomb just screams top-fermentation!?
