Bottle@Home. Raisin and brown sugar aroma. Dark brown color, beige head, fair lace. Sweet, raisin, light bitter, some herbs, licorice, sticky mouthfeel. Wat a surprise to find something drinkable from Koelschip.

Deep red - brown beer, almost clear. Residual off white head. Mild honey nose. Creamy malt with a modest dollop of rich honey. Touch of tangy orange marmalade. Creamy malt semi dry finish. Not bad at all!

Back Log: bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours light brown with beige head. Aroma of faint candy sugar, light caramel, faint vegitable, malt and fruit. Flavor is much the same with a nice tang. Light body with fizzy carbonation. Not bad!

(30cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) rich copper color with a thick tan head. Nose of cherry, light and funky, caramel and cream. Taste of cherry, vinous, lightly tart, nice linger. Creamy and fruit linger on the palate.

sayravai (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 20, 2011
(Bottled, 8% ABV) Hazy dark brown with a large, firm but quickly descending head. Vinegary-tart nose with caramely maltiness. Flavor is also somewhat tart (infected?), but the caramely maltiness is quite dubbel-like. Not too sweet, but maybe some vegetably notes. Medium body, soft and low CO2. One could call this spoiled, but in some strange way I found this quite enjoyable. 4255

(30cl bottle) Pours a clear amber-brown body with a spare off-white head. Aroma of raisins, plums, leather, florals, dried mango, vinous, and noticeable oxidation notes. Flavor of raisins, earth, celery, light roasted malt, and some brett.

Bottle (33 cl) from the Cracked Kettle. Clear mahogny, medium beige head. Nutty malt aroma, a bit sourish, with red berries and some spicy notes. Medium bodied and smooth. Dry and a bit acidic. Meh.

Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Slightly cloudy orangish color with a very small amount of carbonation. Aroma is a bit of slight soured apple with a tart raisin scent. Flavor is a mix of sweet raisins and plum with a tart grape flavor as well. Finishes grainy wheat and tart.

Bottle: This smelled so bad that I got nauseated. Sour smell and infected. Completely different smell than beer, like bad wine that went sour. Color is brown amber and a small white beige quick disappearing head. Taste is disgusting. Sour vomit like taste. No hops, no body no balance. I have never in my life thrown a beer away, but after a couple of gulps this went through the toilet.
