Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Dark amber with some tan head. Aroma is very smoky and meaty - BBQ in a bottle. Is there bacon in here? Taste is caramel malt with lots more smoke.

The smoke is nice, but other than that it tastes most like water with added alcohol and artificial smoke. Not very good, it lacks in other flavors. Bottle from Burg Bieren in Ermelo.

(30cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) rich copper with a film of tan fine bubbles. Nose of mesquite, bacon fat, camp fire caramel. Smells like a good smoke beer. Taste of caramel, raisin, bacon fat, wood/mesquite and a barbecue. Raisin lingers.

sayravai (4548) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 20, 2011
(Bottled) Hazy dark brown with a small, firm head. Very strong combination of smoky ham and tar in the nose, with a touch of anise and quite evident sulphury notes after a while. Flavor is more conservative with smoked maltiness and mild sweetness, also some sour-vinegary notes and earthy barnyard feel. Light to medium body, somewhat thin palate with lowish carbonation. Probably slightly infected, but still quite drinkable. Could be fuller in body. 4253
