2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, a grainy sweetness, slightly bitter finish. Average to medium body, medium carbonation. Drinkable, but a 50cl can is too much for me, I’m glad this was shared.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
50cl Can: BBD 10/2014. 7% ABV.
On the 28th Nov 13 I had a mini Lager/Pilsner session and this beer I obtained when in the South of France was my forth of the evening.
Poured the usual clean golden colour you’d expect from a European supermarket Lager, the same white un-staying head was also in evidence.
Almost odourless, it did however give off a slightly stale malty aroma with a metallic hint.
The taste was refreshing enough and the body was fairly soft on the palate for a strong Lager. No real taste though, just a bog standard Lager/Pilsner with a mild alcoholic kick.
Not my normal sort of drink, but there was so little choice down in Ste Maxime and I wanted to bring something home with me along with the wife’s wine.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
(can, 7%) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of barnyard, floral hops and powdered sugar, quite stale and cardboardy. flavour is mostly the same, with light notes of straw, herbal hops and a light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hoppy, slightly sweet and well carbonated such that it’s not cutting. Very drinkable and refreshing cold. The taste of alcohol is very well masked by the beer: a favourable and rare quality in strong beer.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Medium to smaller pretty vast white head, which seems to change quickly into a very thin lacing on top of a clear yellow golden colored beer.
The aroma is different than most others in this style, still scarry to what it taste like. There’s some yellow fruit with light toasted grains, some ashy apple syrup, some oatmeal, iron, soap and soapy hops.
Taste dishwater, lot of grains (again), hay, light bitter, some toasted ashy malts, something like plums and sugar but very light and some soapy hops. Very strange...
Aftertaste is nasty grains (mostly) and some hay ish hops, light oatmeal and dust wheat.
Low to medium carbo, soft light tingly mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture.
Pff another nasty effort. And I truely wonder why the hell these brewers throw these beers on the market! Another fortunate drainpour!
