1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
330 ml can. 4.2% L03K4. BB 04/15. (Carrefour) AlmerŪa, Spain.
Clear golden colour with a rocky white head.
Farmyard, malt and some almond in the aroma. Quite bad.
The flavour is really typical cheap lager. Maybe a little bit farmyardier and earthier than the average.

I first sampled this beer at íLemonís barí in Courchevel 1850, one of the classiest establishments around, the beers on sale reflected the sophisticated surroundings of the place. The score on this website does not do justice to the majesty of this incredible drink. Subtle undertones of complex hops and the delicate taste of success and glory dance across the palate, leaving the drinker almost at a loss for words. A huge thanks to Lemonís bar for introducing me to this wonder. A fitting reflection of Courchevelís finest establishment

50 cl can from Carrefour, Chania. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet corn. Taste is smooth, but rather boring, no bitterness at all to balance this sweet malty brew.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Small green bottle with a short neck, similar to medicine bottles. 250 ml. Bought in Greece at a supermarket. Label states is brewed in Brasserie De Saint-Omer, France. ABV 4.2%. Poured into a lager glass, at Parga, Greece.
Deep golden yellow colour on the body, partially I guess from the colouring agent it contains. A thin line of foam that disappears quickly, with no lacing left behind.
Almost non existent aroma. After some deep sniffing I managed to find some traces of malts, along with a light corn smell.
Nice bitterness on the taste, not that bad, nothing distinguishable though.
Thin body and carbonation is a bit too much. Dry on the palate.
I have mixed feelings about this one, it had nice bitterness and it was a nice thirst quencher, pretty easy to drink with those small bottles too, but itís way too carbonated and the fact they are using a colour agent for a pale lager doesnít sits well with me. Still..
