Färgmässig är den som den ska vara, vätskan kunde varit en aning tjockare. Doften: Malt, choklad och kanske en liten gnutta vanilj. Smaken: Lite tunn tyvärr, men mörk choklad och kola tyckte jag hitta.

12oz bottle as Sinebrychoff Porter IV.
Appearance : Pitch black with big brown creamy head. Nice head colour. Great lacing.
Aroma : Strong roasted malt along with coffee and black chocolate notes. Light caramel. Some hops. Light fruits.
Taste : Nice roasted malt with some hops. Awesome roasted finish along with dry notes of chocolate. Very clean beer. It had light hints of butterscotch at first but it all cleared up. Finish is a bit woody.
Overall : Very clean beer. Very drinkable. Soft carbonation but it doesn’t feel flat. Nice body. Awesome finish. Very good after heating up a bit and breathing.

330 ml bottle. Rated multiple times.
Pours a dark brown colour with a beautiful brown head. Lacy. Aroma of roasted malts and most importantly, chocolate. Flavour of roasted malts, mild caramel and lots of chocolate and dark coffee [1]. Full bodied, oily texture. Very good.

[1] Vegetables sometimes, if it’s a bad batch.

Bottle, Marian Helmi Bar, Helsinki. My first Finnish beer of the trip and the highest rated beer on here seemed like a good enough place to kick off proceedings. Near enough black pour which seemed to mirror the mood of the barmaid nicely, with a dark brown head. Rich roasty nose with notes of molasses. Flavour was roasted malt aplenty and had a burnt character and traces of dark chocolate and coffee. Pleasingly lingering finish. Great balance here and if this beer was a footballer I guess he’d be Jari Litmanen....

Pours a deep dark rich mahogany with a small brown head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel, coffee, chocolate, dried fruit. Taste is same as aroma. Palate is full body, very nice smooth and creamy texture, good carbonation. Finish is creamy, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits and caramel, a touch of licorice, with some light bitter hops to add some balance. Overall a very nice and smooth BP. Very tasty and enjoyable.
