COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sinebrychoff Porter is a dark unfiltered beer manufactured by using top fermentation. Munich malts and plenty of hops impart a strong flavour to the beer.

Pours black with deep brown edges and mocha foam. Aromas of dark fruit, alcohol, coffee & dark chocolates. Flavor is very sweet malt, caramel & chocolate with plenty of bitter roast espresso & dusty chocolate near the finish. Finishes rather dry with a slight mineral note.

UPDATED: JUL 28, 2008 Bottle thanks to Santa. Pours a pure black body with a medium light brown head. The aroma is full of a boozy combination of dark fruit and expresso. The taste is very nice; tons of sweet fruits, blackberries mostly, some coffee and chocolates, and a dry and toasted malt finish. A very nice Porter for sure. I could live in Finland just to drink these, plus all those hot Finnish girls.

Best of the night, shared by Fidel. Pours almost black with a decent, dark tan head. This was a big beer in nose and flavor. Complexity flowed with chocolate, molasses, roasted malt, finishing a bit dry and subtle bitterness. Very good beer.

Got a bottle at Spuyten Duyvil. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of dark malts and hops. The flavor has tons of dark malts and bitter hops, but not too bitter. I didn’t think it was as creamy as other people have said... it has a certain dryness in the finish that left me just wanting more. A really great beer.

Pours a deep dark black with a medium tan head. This beer has a malty, somewhat sweet aroma that is populated by chocolate, coffee, vanilla. The flavor is quite similar, with a creamy texture. A quite wonderful beer.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2008 pours dark black with medium tan head. Aroma is very appetizing coffee & molasses, some chocolate, rye bread, light vanilla. Flavour is quite bitter after that sweet aroma. Burnt malt, bitter choc., molasses and vanilla. well blended alc. A little thin tasting for me though.
