3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 RichardGretton (4017) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2012
Can on Rocky Mountaineer Train, Canada. Golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is lightly yeasty and dry, and the flavour is yeasty and mildly dry. Overall not too bad for a beer described as light. Very similar to a standard lager.

341ml bottle pours a pale straw color with a small white head which leaves no lacing on the glass. Aroma is light cereal grains and fruit with some mild grass. Taste is light malty sweet, light hop bitterness. LIght bodied with little carbonation. Typical macro brew, enough said.

Not as good as a Bud Light Lime but still does the job. Which is odd from Pilsner.

Can. Gold with minimal head. Looks like a regular Kokanee. Light almost fruity scent. Strong metallic note up front and then settles done to a very light taste. A bit of a fruit note o more of a presence than Coors Light. Still a bit of metallic in the finish.

Sort of a fizzy water. Not a real beer at all. Pale yellow with a thick head that soon departed. Not much aroma. Light watery body, almost no flavour. Only finish was a carbonated burp.
1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 patricks110 (1212) - Alberta, CANADA - JUL 27, 2009
I found a bottle of this in a friends fridge. I had seen this beer before, but it is not as common as other macro light beers. Pour is bland golden body with a frothy head. Aroma is grainy and slightly skunky. Carbonation and water are the main tastes. Nothing here. I will not drink this beer again.

(Can) Purchased at the BCLS Fort Street in Victoria for $1.70. Pours a quick dissipating white frothy head atop a light golden body. Nose is fizzy and slightly grainy. Flavour is bland - watery with no terrible taste. Bland and boring.

An even worse version of Kokanee that was forced upon me in British Columbia. Easy drinking shitty Canadian Lager

It’s interesting that you just don’t see this one as often as other light beers (not that I’m looking really, come to think of it). Anyway, not much to talk about, pretty typical pale lager profile of non-decript aroma (at least it’s clean, not stinky), and faintly fruity light lager palate.
