2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Like most lagers it has almost no flavour. Pale straw yellow with a fizzy head that dies down fast. Thin malt based flavour but mostly tastes of light hay, straw, corn, etc. Not an awful beer by any means, just not very exciting.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Rated at the brewery, draft. Pale straw yellow, stable splotchy head, it’s actually fine except for the sweetness, clean, and has a very soft mouthfeel. Aches for hops, and not sure how many I’d drink, but I finished my pint and is not bad for what it is.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Rockin’ the Kokanee! (You know chicks dig it, right?). 340mL bottle pours with a clear pale gold body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up corn, corn flakes, floral hops and grainy malts. The taste is similar with sweet malts, corn, floral hops and then some mild grainy malts that take a stab at balancing out the sweetness. It gets a bit mineral here and there too. Not bad as there is some balance achieved that offers a small island amid the sea of sweetness.

Poured from 11.5oz bottle into pint glass.

Aroma: lightly toasted barley malt dominates with a bit of grassy herbal hops in the background.
Mouthfeel: light and crisp with a quite dry finish.
Flavor: sweet barley malt, some corn sweetness, some mild hop in the finish. There is also a bit of paperiness and a bit of green apple.
Overall: a mild, pleasant, refreshing lager.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours bright straw gold with a inch of white soapy foam that fell fast and left no lace just a thin ring. Nose is pristine. Light sweet corn and a bit of grain. No fruit. The hops show up only to give a bit of grass. Tatse is crisp, clean and mild except for a bit of bite from carbonation. Has a thin body with a touch of dry cracker and sweet corn. No fruit. I really like it. As it warms rather than discover a bunch of off flavors that compel you to drink this quickly, this one shows off a bit of water that I would say tastes like new snow. They claim to use mountain stream water in their brewing.
