2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not a bad example of the macro pale lager style-- at least it is clean, with a fresh grainy aroma and palate. It’s interesting that this was the only Canadian beer aside from the Unibroue line that I found while living in West Australia.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz twist off. Generic macro Canadian brand.
It pours an extremely light gold with a bright white head.
The smell is almost non-existent but there is a bti of malt and corn.
The flavor is sweet for an adjunct lager. It has a bit of nuttiness. It is better than an average AAL but it is still swill.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can (355ml) on a plane. Pours a clear gold with a large fluffy white head. Lots of lacing. Aroma is sweet and corny, quite sugary and a bit vegetal -- not good at all. Watery flavour is sugary sweet with a light bitter finish. Quite carbonated. Average bodied. Your standard Canadian macro Lager, needless to say I had no more beer on this flight.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz bottle. Poured gold with a whispy disappearing head. Aroma has notes of lightly sweet adjuncts and malts and a mild crispness. Flavor has the same profile as the aroma. It finishes crisp, but has a light sulphuric chemical note in the back end. It was crisp. Better than BMC.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Wow, just like Carlton Cold, only Canadian and with even less flavour, can't remember having too many blander beers than this. Some plastic flavours and some pee. Not good. Bland.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours light gold with a white head. Light sweet malt aroma with grain and honey. Light clean body. Flavor is again malty with grain and a hint of grass. Not that bad.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smells like beer. Tastes surprisingly clean like they say, unlike some these type of brews. Feels very nice going down, overall one of my favorites in the american standard.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
From a can. Visual cue: it’s Bud, I’d say. Pissy yellow with a big white foamy head. Richer in flavor than I’d expected ... malty biscuit, but without any off-putting starchiness. Not bad for the style.
