COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kokanee is a 5.0 percent alcohol (by volume) lager that is smooth, clean and lightly hopped. It is brewed with mountain stream fed water and a blend of 3 malts and features a unique combination of superior Western-grown North American hops. Brewed in the Kootenay Mountains of British Columbia by the Columbia Brewing Company, Kokanee is British Columbia's most popular beer over the last 10 years. Since its introduction to the Northwest U.S. in the summer of 1994, many people have discovered and enjoyed Kokanee's cool, crisp, glacier fresh taste.

341 ml Bottle. I was pleasantly surprised when I had this beer. I was expecting something so mass produced to be really shitty but it acctually wasnt that bad. Nothing fantastic, but not bad. Taste of corn, a bit of hops, and a decent carbonation. I’d probably buy it again, but like I said, nothing special.

Pours light golden with a normal head. Slight hops, some malts. Very typical easy to drink lager.

Poor North-American lager, has fizz to it but also no good aromas or taste.

Aroma of a factory. Heavy mouth which was pleasing. Something tastes really off though. It is slightly sour at the end. Not horrible, but I would order it again.

When you can’t say anything nice. don’t say anything at all. This is the worst beer in Canada... I wish iI could somehow make that positive. I guess it’s not the worst beer in the world. There you go.

Bottle sampled. Again, a generic kind of gross skunky beer. Not much to say about it because there’s nothing much to this beer.

yuck. This beer sucks. If this is how glacier freshness tastes, then bring on global warming. kidding. You put this side by side with a Molson or labatt and you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference. The only thing you really taste in this is the alcohol.

Date: December 24, 2011 Mode: Bottle Source: Lakeville Galaxie Description: Translucent yellow with some head and minimal lacing. Aroma was grainy with some malt. Taste was grainy and a little bit sweet. Not as thin as I was expecting and slightly carbonated.

This is totally not a bad brew for a Macro Lager. It has a nice crisp, refreshing taste, a little sweetness, and a slightly bitter finish. No bad flavors here, it’s not watered down. Totally decent cheap beer.
