COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Classic English Old Ale. Low carbonation, slight tartness to begin with, then lots of roasted and chocolate burst through. Nice and warming in the cold months.

Draft. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, both sweet and roasted, and fruit as well as lighter notes of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet malty with lighter notes of roasted malt, acidity, and vegetables.

500ml bottle in a trade with TheWolf, thanks Rene. Dark brown, very thin dark beige head. Some dark friuit sourness over a slightly thinness milk choc body. Bit of tarry sourness is pretty good. Nice damson.

Thisted tasting. Trade with Thewolf. It is red-brown with a small head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and a distinct sourness. The flavour is sour too and it has notes of roasted malt and light fruit. The finish is sour with a light sweetness – and our guess is, that it is infected.

On tap. Clear, warm reddish brown with a tall, firm, beige head. Lightly tart aroma of overripe fruit. Medium body, tart overripe fruit accents, a vinous touch and a malty bitter finish. Odd but interesting. 070209

Draught. High creamy and lasting off-white head. Pitch black body. Roasted malt aroma with plums. Relatively sweet. Roasted malt flavor with choccolate and an acidic fruityness. Low carbonation, long aftertaste.

Draught. Roasted aroma, citric fruitiness, good coffee note. Very dark brown colour, red shine. Very small light brown head. The flavour starts off with a citric fruitiness, probably from the malt. Good roast coffee flavour. A bit too citric for me. A hint of stable, horsecover in the aftertaste. Too citric, in my opinion.
