Bottled. A golden beer with sediment floating around under a thin white head. The aroma has notes of hops and pineneedles. The flavor is sweet with notes of grapefruit and some grass on a lightly malty background leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy chlorine - shell bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090316]

[Bottle @ Odense Tasting, 14th February 2009, remembered for Carsten BeerMouths fantastic 3 meals highend gastronomy.] Although it’s long time I’ve tasted these brewdrops I remember some golden great amarillo hops at 4.2 %, which indeed is fantastic. Applause to Kolding!

Maria (7805) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2009
Thisted tasting. Trade with Thewolf. It is warm golden with a small head and some serious monsters of sediment, that would scare me stiff, if I met them on a dark night... The aroma has a lot of fruity hops, but also a touch of chemicals, a little towards chlorine. The same goes for the flavour, but the chemical notes are stronger and combined with cardboard and citrus/grapefruit. The aroma was nice, but the flavour was disappointing.

25cl. bottle. Pours hazy orange with a creamy white foam. Nose is surprisingly hops - Amarillo, and quite a lot of it. Dry and crisp. Citrus and soap. A lot of taste for a 4,2% beer. Good!
