Unclear light to medium matt yellow colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy tart berries, cassis, baking yeast, light to moderate wood. Flavour is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, baking yeast, tart, dry. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20110701]

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of vinegar and black currant. The flavor is sour with notes of vinegar and black currant as well as lighter notes of acetone, leading to a tart finish.

From bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a fully gone head. Aroma is wooden and mild fruity. Mild berry fruity initial flavoured. Wooden and mellow sourness coming through. Nicely balanced and integrated fruit, sourness and wood. Mild acidic and lacto acidic finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Clear pale orange on colour with no head. Fresh and sweetish aroma of blackcurrant. Medium body, dry blackcurrant notes, slightly biscuity. Distinct tartness in both flavour and finish - as opposed to the nose. 040910

Bottled (thanks thewolf!). Goldeny orange colour with not too much head. Aroma is mild wood, some fruits as well as mild tart peach notes. Flavour is tart wood, rather sourish acidic dry as well as some mild blueberries.

Clear orange coloured with a small white ehad.
Light acidic aroma of black currants and barnyard.
Fruity and light acidic flavour of black currants and barnyard.
Tart finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Thanks to TheWolf. Pours unclear golden with a off white head. Nose is sweet and tart Ribena. Tart and dry flavor with hints of perfume, Ribena, berries, lacto and oak. Dry end. Really nice.

(Bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a small white head. Aroma of apricot, vanilla, yellow raspberries, yogurt, and subtle barnyard. Flavor of apricot, yellow raspberries, peach, oak, some black currants, and lacto. Excellent!

Bottle, courtesy of thewolf. An unclear one, golden in color, and with a minimal white head. Oak, berries, citrus and a vinous touch on the aroma. Quite complex but I’m not sure I really appreciate it. The flavor is sweet at first, at least it feels sweet, but then the acidity kicks in. Citrus peel too. Where in the aroma the black currant is more or less undetectable, it’s sure present in the flavor. I normally don’t like black currant in my beers, but this is nice. Not much flavor of the malts. Dry in the mouth, medium bodied and with a low but pleasant carbonation level. Long, acidic finish with black currant. I like it! It’s easy drinkable and quite tasteful, and definitely one I could have more of. 110621
