Den nye Hønefryd for Kolding Bryglaugs anden sæson.

Brygget efter inspiration fra Kocour Sezon, som er en tjekkisk pilsner med masser af Saaz humle. Men i stedet for at undergære, så har de (og vi) valgt at tilsætte Belgisk Saison gær. Det giver øllen en super friskhed med et skarpt strejf af peber i afslutningen.

RBESG Sheffield 2009 Grand Tasting @ the Harlequin.Hazy golden/orange color with a white to off-white thin head. Sweet fruity aroma, some yeast and sweet malt. quite balanced taste betwwen the malts and the hops, some barnyard, oranges, tangerines, lemony hops, yeast. Very drinkable. One of your best Rene !

Unclear hazy medium golden orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, spicy, sugar, moderate hoppy, fruity, citrus - lemon, moderate yeasty, fruity - passion fruit - peach, light barnyard. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, yeasty, citrus - lemon, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090719]

[bottle @ RBESG 2009, Grant Tasting] Nice spicy sugar aroma with a little lemon hops and caramel. Hazy orange with a white, thin ring. Nice farmhousey cork flavour with a gentle bitterness. Notes of corriander and celery seed. Perfect sweetness level. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly sweet finish.

Bottle at the RBESG09, Grand tasting, sheffield. Alround rating: Fairly lactic apparently, pale clean malts condiering the yeast character, spicing is done well. Epic strong win it seems and this coming from someone who isnt hop on saisons.

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2009. Orange blonde. Tangerine and oily and medecinal hops in the aroma. Alcoholic flavor with grassy oily peppery hops, dust and a hint of tangerine.
