Bottle courtesy of Beerandblues2, thank you sir! Clear dark brown color, large fluffy tan head with good retention and solid lacing - not bad for a retired beer. Aroma of bitter cocoa. Taste is thin bitter dark chocolate.

Bottle received via trade with thewolf. Pours clear black with a small, fizzy tan head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is chocolate and roast malt with earthy hops and prune notes. Flavor is dark malt, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and light carbonation.

From tap at YNWA. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and mild liqourice. Bitter, dark roasted malty and vague sweetness. Dry liqourice and roasted finish. Bitter and dark roasted malty finish. Vague sweetness persisting.
