Danish: Basisøllen til vores to Oaked’n’Smoked. Det er en stærk, meget røget Barley Wine, som har en god krop. Den høje alkoholprocent leder tankerne over på whiskyer med tørverøget malt. Sødmen og alkoholen er dog balanceret med masser af humle.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 Bottle at home. Shared with Mathieu87. Appearance: clear amber beer, no foam, somewhat reminded me of an old lambic (just appearance!). Nose: caramel, little smoked, wood, whiskey comes in a lot, little fruity. Taste: too smoked for me, though it’s compensated a little with the sugar in this beer. Not really my kind of beer, but enjoyable!

Murky, nut brown color, tiny head. Tarry, smokey but also a bit sour nose. Medium-bodied. Licorice, alcohol, some tar. Liquerish palate. A bit rough, but has some potential. Slightly homebrewish.
