From tap at YNWA. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Roasted, herbal coffee aroma. Mild acidic nose. Sweet malty and chocolate flavoured. Solid coffee herbal note is somewhat dominant with a subdued malt presence and vague acidic. Ends bitter from both roasted malt and coffee, yet with a residual sugar into the far finish.

Draft. A dark chestnut-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt and coffee. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, coffee, and some vegetables, the finish a very hard roasted, lending it some acidity, and some bitter coffee.
