Bottle, thanks to Rene and shared with Kai Jim. Pours nice with a good head. Spicy flavor and relatively light body because of the sugar. One of my favorite xmas beers of 2008. Actually reminds me of our own xmasbeer, though ours has more spicyness

On tap. Pours a clear dark brown with a tint of orange and a creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dried fruit and alcohol. Quite full-bodied, dominated by dried fruit - prunes in particular - and some very pleasant vinous accents, Port that is. A light note of hard roasted malt also. The finish is alcoholic with a subdued bitterness. Excellent and very christmasy, probably the single best new Danish Christmas beer 2008. Wauw! 301108
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 yespr (20652) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2008
From tap at YNWA. Pours cloudy deep amber to brown with a diminished white head. Vague butterish nose with a more pronounced spiced profile. Light sweet dark caramel malt flavoured with a light acidic spiced and roasted malt base underneath. Nicely balance between spices, malt and sweetness and good backup by the alcohol. Smooth finish.
