Boutip (3467) - Gatineau, - JUN 15, 2007
Bottle courtesy of thewolf: Poured a very light amber color ale with a medium foamy head with some limited retention. Aroma of light sweet fruit is quite weird and not that much enticing. Taste is sweet with some weird passion fruit like sweetness. Body is a bit thin for the style with some adequate carbonation. Interesting to try but not necessarily something I would want to try again.

Ungstrup (24024) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 8, 2007
Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a thick light orange head. The aroma is sweet and quite spicy, while the flavor is sweet with an acidic edge and notes of spices, leading to a dry end. Get rid of the acidity - poor handling must be the problem in an 7% ABV beer.

Papsoe (23023) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Unclear amber with a dense, off-white head. Lightly fruity nose. Quite full-bodied with fairly sweet and caramelish accents - and a whiff of smoke. The finish is sweet. 290407

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a big off-white head. Malty, yeasty, citrus aroma and taste. Medium body with a sweet light dry finish.

madsberg (7570) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2007
Bottled. Orange coloured. Unclear. Off white small hea. This beer is probably infected. Why do these breweries sell their shit. Notable fruits and grape in the aroma. Flavour of citrus and light caramel. Is light dry and thin bodied. Grapish and infected end. Boy oh boy.

Grovlam (4108) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2007
Bottle. Nice large fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted. Not much lacing going on in the glass. Colour was hazy orange like. The first sniff reviled lots of fruit, caramel, spice. First sip reviled somewhat sour notes. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Flavour was moderated sweet with again sour notes. Sour finish.

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 2/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 11/20
thewolf (8669) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2007
UPDATED: APR 24, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a small, fizzy-sounding and bubbly white head. Aroma is very sweet with a malty edge, and a lot of fruity yeastiness. Mouthfeel is very oily and low carbonated. Flavour is very spicy with a caramel background and a clear woody hop-taste at the end. Cannot quite find which spices... vanilla, ginger. Quite vinious as well.
