Draught at Kandalló Kézműves Pub, Budapest, on June 21, 2014.
Was just named "Dupla Köleses" and described to me as a "double lager with millet".
Clear copper color, very small fizzy non-asting white bubbly head. No lacing. Sweet, malty, nutty, some butterscotch scent. Sweet, malty, dry, mineral, fruity taste. Fruity, dry aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium high lasting bitterness.

0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a clear deep amber colored one with a small bubbly and sidesticking off-white head. It smells really sticky and malt caramel sweet this. A little bit of honey with lots of boiled down and concentrated fruits. Not horrible but a bit one directioned perhaps. Feels light oily in the mouth and it’s softly carbonated this. Doesn’t taste horrible either, but it’s no masterpiece. Malty caramel sweet with more honey and something softly spiced in the back. Well, not something I would sit down and drink lots of, still ... 18.12.2013

Kicsit jobban bejön, mint a köleses társa. De igazából mindkettő nagyon finom. Ráadásul ezek pont olyanok, amiket bárhol, bármikor, a legnagyobb örömmel megiszok.

Sweet malty aroma with a massive dose of caramel and some nuts. Clear mid-brown color, low carbonation. Meet the requirements.

Small offwhite head. Clear deep red body. Earthy raisiny aroma with caramelly dried fruit notes. Dry-sweet earthy licorice and rye syrup taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy caramelly raisiny aftertaste with rye crisp bread and spice notes. Nice and drinkable. (0.5l bottle, If Café, Budapest.)

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. A millet beer? Interesting. Pours a deep nougat-hued clear brown body with a small white head. Nose is honey, wet grains, caramel and hints of nuts and nougat. Taste is caramel, burnt sugar, nougat, hints of nuts and sweet grains. Medium body and carbonation. Decent enough, but not very exciting.

Clear, deep golden with a small head. Aroma of honey and malts. Taste is malty with nuts and caramel. Distinct taste of the dupla grain. Light and close to watery on the palate.

heavy (2116) - Split, CROATIA - AUG 27, 2013
05/08 A 0.5 l bottle from Csak a jo sör, Budapest. It poured clear light brown body with smaller white head. Caramel and hay, grainy aroma. Slightly sweet flavor, typical for a dunkel, still with some bread and grainy notes. A bit empty, thin bodied I would say. Finish was also short and watery, some caramel, dust and bread malt. Rather boring, although alright, didn’t ring my bells at all.
