This beer has a fantastic taste to it. It is smooth, creamy, mellow, with all the right notes at just the right time. Would highly suggest to anyone who wants to try some good Hungarian beer.

Bottle. Golden color, medium, but stable white-beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel and malt. Mid-sweet falvour, traces of roated malt, cereals. Medium-bitter. medium bodied. A quite godd one from a micro-brewery.

50cl bottle @ home, gift from Csak a Jó Sör - Only Good Beer, Budapest, many thanks! Clear deep amber color, thin white mostly diminishing fair lacing head. Aroma light rum, caramel, syrup molasses, black tea, honey, medium roasted malt. Taste medium sweetness, lightly bitter. Light body, thin feel, soft to flat carbonation, moderated sweet moderated roasty finish with average duration. Refreshing, interestin, but too sweet for me.

Draught at Kandalló Kézműves Pub, Budapest, on June 21, 2014.
Was just named "Dupla Köleses" and described to me as a "double lager with millet".
Clear copper color, very small fizzy non-asting white bubbly head. No lacing. Sweet, malty, nutty, some butterscotch scent. Sweet, malty, dry, mineral, fruity taste. Fruity, dry aftertaste. Medium to fizzy mouthfeel, medium high lasting bitterness.

0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a clear deep amber colored one with a small bubbly and sidesticking off-white head. It smells really sticky and malt caramel sweet this. A little bit of honey with lots of boiled down and concentrated fruits. Not horrible but a bit one directioned perhaps. Feels light oily in the mouth and it’s softly carbonated this. Doesn’t taste horrible either, but it’s no masterpiece. Malty caramel sweet with more honey and something softly spiced in the back. Well, not something I would sit down and drink lots of, still ... 18.12.2013

Kicsit jobban bejön, mint a köleses társa. De igazából mindkettő nagyon finom. Ráadásul ezek pont olyanok, amiket bárhol, bármikor, a legnagyobb örömmel megiszok.

Small offwhite head. Clear deep red body. Earthy raisiny aroma with caramelly dried fruit notes. Dry-sweet earthy licorice and rye syrup taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy caramelly raisiny aftertaste with rye crisp bread and spice notes. Nice and drinkable. (0.5l bottle, If Café, Budapest.)

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 18.12.2013, 0,5l bottle sampled @ BBGTC Christmas tasting:
Small bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel malts, cereal, malt candy, almond cake. Taste is sweet, caramel malts, malt candy, almond cake, grass, hay. Little bitterness, a little watery mouthfeel. Boring!

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. A millet beer? Interesting. Pours a deep nougat-hued clear brown body with a small white head. Nose is honey, wet grains, caramel and hints of nuts and nougat. Taste is caramel, burnt sugar, nougat, hints of nuts and sweet grains. Medium body and carbonation. Decent enough, but not very exciting.
