Quote from one of the brewers when I asked him what style it was :- "We made our own and its called Kompaan 20 ;-) I guess Its between a blond beer and an IPA. what do you think? De Paas described it as a blond beer that taste like a tripel but drinks as a pils." Brewed at Anders until 2014. Now most likely in a (yet) unknown brewery in Germany. They are planning production in their own facility.

Bottle @ Benzai. Slightly hazy very pale yellow with a ginormous white head. Smells malts, grassy, yeast, slightly lemonish, slightly unfresh. Tastes slightly lemonish, fresh, malty. Not bad! Somewhere between a saison and a tripel. Medium body, soft carbo.

Decent brew, but not much of a Belgian here. Light bodied blonde with accent on rubbery hops, bit grapefruit, some spices, grain. Moderate sweet with moderate to light bitterness in finish.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy, light brown color. Medium size, bubbly white head, stays. Fart, rotten citrus, clove, ginger in aroma. Sweet, malty, ginger, coriander, citrus in taste. Nice citrusy spicy aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Medium body.

Nice gold, huge frothy persistent head. Has a pleasanty spicy grainy aroma, classic belgian ale yeast. Moderate palate, fullish and sweet palate. Simple belgian taste, a little bit rough. Pleasant enough, but drinkability not so great. Finish nicely spicy, resiny tingly hops, Hmmm, not doing it for me.

It’s like a blond beer mixed with IPA. The typical IPA hop, but more smooth. Citrus, yeasty, metal, hennep and koriander. It’s ok and fresh, but not great.

Bottle at Bokaal, Rotterdam, Saturday 14th March 2015 in company of Dad & Barry Pours light gold, furry bitter beer, murky appearance. Soft and a bit of soapy hop, but a fuzzy feel. Nice. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.4

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Tiel. Hazy golden with a white head. Citrus hops in the aroma with some weizen and Belgian yeast. Taste is a bit sweet but with enough hop bitterness to keep things interesting. Finish is semi-dry. Nice session ale and quite atypical.

This is a truely sparkling ale. In the best tradition of the Australian Coopers. Anice bitter note which is not dominating the taste, a green grassy side note and a hint of citric fruit. The body is a bit too light in my eyes, but it’s a nice summer ale with a descent alcohol percentage. Not too bad! Nice beer with even nicer looks. This one will be nice summer ’kompaan’!

Bottled, thanks MrHangover! Cloudy golden, rich firm head. Grassy noble hop aroma. Dry with slender body and elegant, crisp/rounded mouthfeel. Marzipan, buckwheat and spicy grass.Distinct bitter finish. Refreshing, elegant and something out of the ordinary.

Pours a light yellow/gold with a large white head. The smell is crisp fruit, some citrus, light grain. The taste is crisp fruit, some citrus, grain ending crisp, citrusy and dry....a little yeast as well. Light in body and crisp carbonation.
