Bottle shared by Miro. Dark brown color, thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, light smoky, dark chocolate, light coffee, bittering hops, prunes. Taste is balanced, decent hoppy, coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruit, roasted malt. Good stuff

Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, chocolate, roasted malts and peat.

Turbid/opaque red/brown beer with a slight/medium beige head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, fruit and chocolate; ends slightly bitter with roasted malts and peat.

This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. The peat might be a tat too much and the port is never really noticeable.

33cl bottle at home. Pours a pitch-black colour with a big beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark malts, alcohol, burnt sugar, roasted malts, red fruit. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter, slight acidity with a dry and warming finish. Notes of peated/roasted malts, caramel, leather, red fruit, bit of port, cocoa, liquorice. Texture is oily, medium to full bodied with soft carbonation

Bottle from Maakun in Euro Swap #1, thanks! Pours dark brown with huge beige head. Lightly ashy aroma with dark chocolate, liquorice, a little bit of peat and tar. Dark chocolate, some bitterness, roast in the taste. Woody, bitter finish with some tar.

The beer looks like a proper stout. The color of the beer is a lively dark brown, almost black. On top of the beer, a lovely almond colored layer of foam is poured. The beer is to dark to get an idea of the cloudiness. The smell is nice. I smell a mild banana sweetness. I smell some roasted barley, red fruits, chocolate. The beer is nice and sweet and has a nice slightly sour fruity touch. The taste is the same. I smell lovely chocolate, roasted barley, toast, red fruit and a slightly savory Porter-like touch. The balance is great. Spurs, sweets, salts and hoppy bitters come together in perfect harmony. The palate is nice. Just the amount of fizz to bring out all the flavors. Lovely.

Donker bruin bier met een goede getinte schuim kraag. Ruikt drop, geroosterd, mout. Smaakt geroosterd, chocolade, koffie, drop, hoppig. Iets te veel hop voor een impie.
