COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Dubbel / Porter mix. Brewed at Anders until 2014. Now most likely in a (yet) unknown brewery in Germany. They are planning production in their own facility.

Bottle. Deep black, with big, densed, light brown head, Good lacing and medicore head retention. Aroma is storn malty, fruity with some roasted malts, mainly chocolate. But in the first line you are experiencing fruity and malty character. Taste is at first malty and fruity, in the end this is more like porter - some roasted malts, dark fruits. Low to medium bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation, silky and smooth texture, fisnish is roasted and light bitter. In overall quite interesting mixture in the beginning mores like dubbel, later on just like a porter.

33 cl bottle. BBE 08/2017.
Pours dark mahogany, almost black color with a large off-white head. Way more fruits on the nose than I would have liked, bitter grapefruit feel to it, some roasted malt notes are there as well with faint berries. Quite a lot of carbonation to ruin the drinkability and flavor, some dark berries on the flavor, mild malts with nutty tones and some faint caramel notes as well. As said, the carbonation is mostly to blame here, might have had a chance with more moderate levels. Not really liking this.

Lovely aroma. Strong with a lot of cherries and chocolate. Pours black with medium sized head, leaving nice lacing. Taste is rather sweet, low-medium bitterness. Aftertaste with a cherry feeling (like liquor cherries dipped in chocolate). Alcohol warming the throat a bit, but hidden nicely. Overall a superb beer.
