COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel
Hops: Galaxy, Citra

beerbill (3457) - Laurel, New York, USA - DEC 5, 2013
12 oz. bottle courtesy of my niece’s husband Matthew. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thin-moderate linen white white that lasted through the first two sips and left light lace. Pleasant aroma of pale malt with notes of grapefruit. The flavor is pale malt with a touch of white sugar sweetness followed by some mild grapefruit hops bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Refreshing. No problems.

KeefOz (940) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - DEC 2, 2013
Poured a clear golden amber colour with a one-finger white foamy head that diminished slowly and laced OK. Carbonation low with medium sized bubbles forming a few trails. Aroma subtly of fruity hops - nice. Taste of sweet caramel followed by a nice, not too much, fruity hops bitterness. Light body. Light clean crisp refreshing.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy golden color, frothy white head. Fairly light, malty flavor with a hoppy background and some vegetable notes and yeast. Light body, medium-light carbonation. I could imagine drinking this on a beach, even if it isn't terribly original.

Foffern (1252) - Bodř, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2013
Bottle at Piccadilly, Bodř. The colour is golden straw with an off-white, whipped eggwhite-like, medium head. Fruity aroma with hay, straw, citrus, grass, grassy hops and apricot. The flavour follows up and is both sweet and dry. Has a slick and soft mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. A well-balanced and nice golden ale.

IndianaRed (2518) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Bottle pours a crystal clear golden witha small but fine white head that dissipates rather quickly. Obvious pale lager pilsener aroma, but a more pleasant light pale malt flavor. Still some cereal and bohemian hop flavors. Light bodied and spritzy. Not a fan.

Solid beer from Kona. When it comes to tropical beers, I would put Kona as a cut above the rest. Good ale, clean taste. Certainly not Corona!

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden yellow with foamy off-whte head dissipating quickly, hops aroma, smooth hoppy taste, sweetish long finish. Nice and balanced ale.

Draft, downtown Orlando, 19th November 13. Clean and crisp, lots of watered down grapefruit. Refreshing, but simple

There a high taste of grapefruit with a malt and very little bitterness. It's clean no real high excitement ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thin white head, nice golden color, almost no lacing. Fragrant fruity aroma with hints of tropical fruit with some grassy hints and cereal in a back. Light bitterness of hops, somewhat sweet. Quite well balanced.
