COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Malts: Pale (Premium 2-Row), Caramel
Hops: Galaxy, Citra

Citrus aroma that has elements of tropical fruits like many Kona brews. Light golden color. Taste is minor bitterness and lots of fruit, mangoes, pineapple and of course grapefruit, all while not seeking to overwhelm. Light body with some zest, still very sessionable.

Slabe, marna piana i pecherzykowata do tego. Kolor jasny typowo lagerowy, nadaje sie to piwo na gorace plaze w Hawajach. Zapach cytrusowy. Cytryna i lemonka takze w posmaku, troche aromatycznego posmaku chmielu. Ale nic wiecej to piwo z soba nie reprezentuje. Nie polecam.

Comes out of the tap a clear, appetizing amber. Hoppy, woody, malty aroma has a citrus undertone, almost more like an IPA. Malty flavor is fairly hoppy, a bit fruity, not at all bitter. Body has good firmness and fizz. A wave worth catching.

Bottle compliments of mora2000. Clear pale yellow on the pour, a tiny bit of white foam. Taste of spruce, caramel, fruity, floral, dry finish. Well carbonated, thin body.

Draft. Clear light amber body topped by medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, light lime, honey. Taste seemed watered down, and is medium sweet, orange, some grapefruit, light lime. Light-medium body, very watery.

. Neutral aroma, slightly murky, dark golden pour. Flavor has some sweet honey accents, some buttery notes and just a hint of citrus. Clean, even mouthfeel - refreshing.

Surprising for a golden ale I feel the low raring is disturbing. Resembles more of an IPA. Crisp and refreshing great summertime session beer to boot. If you see it pick up a 6 pack it won’t dissapoint.

12oz bottle in an English pint. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of pale malts, light fruitiness and floral notes from the hops. Flavor the same with a nice blend of the ingredients. Average texture. Not a bad beer.

Gold, clear, white head. Aroma of honey malt and light citrusy hops. Flavor of grainy and somewhat biscuity malt, light caramel sweetness, enough resiny bitterness (with some citrus flavor as well) to balance the finish. Easy-drinking golden ale.
