Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor Ė a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3į

bottle. Golden with small head. Light malt body. Flat with a bit of sweetness. Mild hop bite in the finish. Slightly below average. Itís about what I expected for a faux-craft golden ale.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours yellow with a white head. Taste slightly sweet, lightly fruity, refreshing. I thought this was pretty good. I would drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pale, yellow color with a thin white head. Citrus and coconut aroma. Surprisingly its more sweetly floral flavored. Average carbonation with a thin texture. Definitely a unique tasting blonde ale and it exceeded my low expectations after sampling some of their other offerings.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2014 Gold colour, bubbly lager style head which disappears quickly. Light tropical fruits aroma. light body with nice carbonation. Strong juicy pineapple flavour. Itís definitely interesting for an Hawaiian beer, but itís very unbalanced and the tropical taste it feels a bit artificial and too overwelming for a beer which is very light in all the other flavours (hops and malts).

Bottled at kkk Kamppi. Golden color, medium-sizef head. Tropical fruity aroma. Light-bodied. Tropical fruity flavor but quite dry finish with grapefruit and even some cardboard. Easy going thirst-quincher.

Tap. Pours a light gold. Great hop aroma. Initial taste had some grapefruit and citrus flavors, like a good IPA but without lots of bitter aftertaste. The flavors wore off slightly as I worked my way through the beer, which was the only down side. This was a pretty good beer and one of the best lower gravity beers Iíve had in awhile.

This golden ale is underrated! Excellent palate, flavorful, with citrus hints in the aftertaste. I would say it's the best coming out from Hawaii. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in St Christopers Place, Borough. Colour is amber, clear, thin white head. Nose is slight citrous hoppy and tropical fruit hoppy, with some pineapple and grapefruit. Body is grainy husk with touch of honey then grapefruit and pine.

Pours clear and yellow golden with a white head of loose foam that fell too fast but left spots of lace. Nose is simple. Light breaddy grain with a bit of natural sweetness on it. Some ripe peach, a bit of grass and some citrus to give it pizazz. Taste follows the nose all the way. The balance is toward the malt so that is forward and firm but light and not too sweet. The ripe peach takes a back seat but itís juicy. There is a touch of bitter grass and a bit of tart citrus to give it some tang. The body is thin and the mouthfeel is watery. The carbonation was ample but it did not enliven this beer because it wasnít dry. This finishes with a very light bitter and sweet .

This was a good beer that drank pleasantly. It did not excite in any way but would be ideal for a summer beer as it is very refreshing and with the low abv this could really hit the spot on a hot day.
