12 fl. oz bottle (4.4% abv version) purchased @Ølhandleriet, Mathallen, Oslo. A fluffy shiny white head, atop a crystal clear pale yellow colored body. Pretty nice hop aroma; Sweet tangerines, flowers and mild grapefruit. Notes of honey and perfume. Taste is sweetish, light honeyed malts. Mild fruity bitterness. Soft and very light in the mouth. Finishes on the sweet side with subtle fruity bitterness. Easy drinking.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma is crisp, light grains, some light hop character. Flavor was cereal grains, some sweetness, and a touch of bitter hops. Quite refreshing, though otherwise unremarkable - would probably be great on a really hot day.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The color of this beer is a golden yellow with a minimal white head, and the aroma fuses the smells of citrus hops, honey, and dough yeast. The taste is slightly sweet, slight bitter, and mildly sour; furthermore, the palate, which combines an abrupt finish, average carbonation, slick texture, and ight-medium body, makes for sippable beer.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz Bottle. I got a six pack of this while visiting Plano Texas. I hadn’t had any beer from our beautiful island state but i will probably be giving the other beers this brewery has to offer. the Big Wave is fruity in aroma and has a pleasant aftertaste. I say give it a shot if you like this style of brew. This is a very refreshing little beverage.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear gold, good looking. Sweet malt, flowers, some dusty hops in the tail. Too perfumed for my liking, but some flavour is better than no flavour in my book!

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Purchased at Binny’s in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home prior to leaving for another extended work trip. Appearance is a pale clear yellow with not much head. Aroma mostly of malt, more bready than caramel, smells OK. Taste is average, and tastes like every other golden ale out there. It’s beer, and beer is good, but it’s just an OK beer.
