Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

Bottle. Bright yellow color with very little head. Aromas of wine grapes, lime, and hops. Strong carbonation and a slightly bitter, almost sour finish. Very crisp and refreshing.

Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear gold brew with white head. Very nice aroma of pine and citrus. Taste is somewhat weak malt at the start and a watered down hops in the finish - kind of a surprise given the great aroma. Palate is watery. For a golden ale it is OK.

Fruits, pine and some malts in the aroma. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter.Light body with a average carbonation. Not bad, good aroma, but the flavour and mouth feel disappoint me a bit.

29.03.2014. 11FL.OZ. Bottle at Stuelands Apotek. Pale yellow colour with white head. Smooth soft and rather thin malty aroma. Notes of pine and junioerus hopping. Fresh but rather boring beer. Its like boring beer with hops...! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355 ml bottle. A clear golden body with a medium sized white head. Mild aroma with a hint of malt and citric fruit like peaches. Flavor is surprisingly nice as the aroma did not promise that much. Soft, smooth malt, tropical and citric fruit, moderate bitterness. Very refreshing and easy to drink. Medium body and light in aftertaste. A nice thirst quencher that I easily could have stocked up in the fridge.

Aroma is great and beautiful appearance. Taste has a bit too many hops for me. Palate pretty smooth. Overall I gave it a 5.

Clear pale to gold. Aroma is slightly sweet of tropical fruit. Sips mostly malt and fruit with a slight hop presence to back it up. Body is light to medium light and finishes a little thin. Sweet fruit is persistent throughout. With flavors of watermelon, clementine, and slight banana. Crisp and refreshing on the palate. Alcohol presence is low and seems very Sessionable. Doesn’t have the high attentuation that I expect from a kolsch and a little more than subtle fruit. Nonetheless, a very drinkable, Sessionable craft brew that is far more reach able than your typical macro.
